Ayisha Green, Uproot Co-founder

Drawing from her commitment to unlearning oppressive beliefs and learning empowerment; Ayisha is an experienced facilitator who nurtures the self and collective, She is drawn to the work of building dialogues that lead to stronger community bonds. With a comprehensive background in activism, intergenerational dialogue, social justice curriculum development, and reproductive advocacy. Ayisha is dedicated to serving communities that strive towards a future that can hold diversity, equity, and justice.

Additionally, Ayisha works as a full-spectrum labor and postpartum doula.

Training and Experience

Ayisha has been leading transformative dialogues envisioning growth and justice in communities of color for 5+ years. She received formal training from the School of Unity and Liberation and Training For Social Action Trainers in Movement-centered dialogue, Popular Education, and social justice curriculum. She has intimately trained and coached over 20 youth activists in leading social justice dialogues that center on building community strength to diagnose, deconstruct, and process the social impacts of systemic oppression.
